Maurice Watson, Founder & Managing Partner
Maurice Watson is a finance expert dedicated to helping investors grow and protect their wealth through strategic, well-researched opportunities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, equipping him with a unique blend of technical and financial expertise.
Maurice brings extensive experience across private equity, commercial banking and wealth management. He began his career in private equity mergers and acquisitions at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, gaining deep insight into deal structuring and investment analysis. He later specialized in commercial banking and beverage finance at Wells Fargo, where he worked closely with corporate clients to optimize financial solutions. More recently, Maurice partnered with high net worth individuals at Wilmington Trust, focusing on wealth preservation and portfolio growth.
With a wealth of contacts in the liquor industry, Maurice is uniquely positioned to identify and capitalize on exclusive opportunities within this dynamic sector. His approach combines rigorous market analysis with disciplined risk management to deliver consistent, sustainable returns tailored to each investor’s goals. Arthur Tyson, Strategic Partner
Arthur Tyson leverages over 15+ years of experience in finance strategy, operations and go-to-market execution. He has helped high-growth companies scale profitably by optimizing ROI, developing pricing strategies and aligning financial plans with broader business objectives.
Prior to his role as strategic partner to Watson Capital Partners, Arthur held senior finance roles at tech start-up Noom where he supported rapid global expansion; as well as Microsoft, where he focused on strategic planning and financial analysis for large-scale product initiatives. His background spans FP&A, corporate development and strategic planning, with deep expertise in software, fintech and business services.
Arthur earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University and his MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is known for his hands-on approach, leveraging operational insights and strategic partnerships to create long-term value for portfolio companies.
